Our Community

We now have 10 beehives in the walled garden that are looked after by members of The Vogrie Bee Sanctuary.

The members have allowed our staff hands on experience with the bees and have ran educational sessions with our children.

The hives are active and there has been a variety of honey produced throughout the year so far which you can purchase from ourselves or from the café down at Vogrie House at £6 a jar.

Vogrie Outdoor ELC is greatful to the help provided by the Friends of Vogrie Volunteers. 

The group helps with a wide range of tasks within the walled garden, including but not limited to:

Driving our minibuses
Planting and weeding
Aesthetic gardening
Growing  fruit and veg
